Procurement Policy
Anyone conducting business on behalf of Arnarlax is responsible for ensuring that it is done in line with Arnarlax's Ethical Guidelines. All procurement must encourage principles for fair competition and be based on transparency and good intentions. The procurement process includes evaluating environmental implications, like the manufacturing/production, transport, processing, use, reuse, safe disposal and recirculation possibilities of the considered product or service, as well as the second party’s overall environmental profile. For more information on Arnarlax' procurement practices, see the Supply Chain Management policy.

Only employees with the proper authorization can engage in contracting processes on behalf of Arnarlax. This involves procurement of any kind, including but not limited to fish feed, fry, sea-based or land-based equipment, transport services, maintenance services, delousing operations, packaging products, waste handling services, and office products.
